DJI Agras T100 Sets a New Benchmark in Agricultural Drone Power

DJI has officially launched the new Agras T100, a powerful new addition to its agricultural drone lineup that’s built to handle large-scale farming with greater efficiency, safety and precision than ever before. Released globally last week, the T100 arrives as the most capable platform yet in DJI’s Agras series, offering a significant upgrade for commercial operators ready to scale their productivity in the field.

What sets the T100 apart is its raw capacity and versatility. It features a massive 100-litre spray tank and a 150-litre granular spreading tank, both supported by a payload capacity of up to 100ks. Whether you're applying liquid fertilisers across hundreds of hectares or distributing seed and granules on steep terrain, the T100 is engineered to do it faster and with fewer trips back to the refill station. With flight speeds of up to 20 metres per second and flow rates reaching 40 litres per minute (with the optional quad-nozzle misting system), it's a real workhorse.

But raw performance is just the beginning… The T100 is packed with DJI’s latest safety and automation technology, including a five-direction vision system, omnidirectional millimetre-wave radar and terrain-following LiDAR. This allows it to fly confidently across complex topographies like orchards, terraces and uneven terrain. In addition, the aircraft’s modular design means operators can quickly swap between spraying, spreading and cargo modes making it a multi-functional tool, not just a drone.

Underpinning all of this is DJI’s new Safety System 3.0, a comprehensive upgrade to flight awareness and collision avoidance. It's also the first Agras drone to use DJI's coaxial dual-rotor layout for increased lifting power and redundancy, offering better stability under heavy load and tough wind conditions. Real-time flight planning and AI-based route optimisation also make chemical application more precise, reducing overlaps and minimising waste.

The T100 isn’t launching alone, DJI also introduced the Agras T25P alongside it. These offer the same core intelligence and sensor suite but in smaller formats suited to different farm sizes and workflows.

As the agricultural sector embraces smarter, more sustainable practices, drones like the Agras T100 are shaping the future of aerial application. It’s no longer just about replacing the tractor or helicopter, this is about transforming how we manage inputs, reduce environmental impact and get the job done efficiently with fewer boots in the field.
