Fly The Farm are a team of Agras Drone experts offering innovative solutions to farmers and businesses Australia-wide. We pride ourselves on being a reliable extension of your team. Our hands on and always on approach ensures our partners feel supported every step of the way, whether they be new to the industry and technology or the most experienced operator looking for advice. 

Fly the Farm was founded in 2016 and is a family owned and operated, based on the Gold Coast in Queensland.

After a recent expansion, Fly The Farm is fast becoming one of Australia's leading agricultural drone partners with a team of specialists Australia-wide assisting farmers with spray solutions, innovations and support to improve the way they run their businesses with the use of drone technology. Our passion for providing cutting-edge technology and support to farmers and agronomists is what drives us every day.

Our team is lead by Managing Director Ben Trollope, whose experience in the UAV industry spans over a decade. Acting as Chief Executive Officer of The Ripper Group to help launch and navigate the worlds first drone rescue and working closely with W.I.R.E.S. to locate wildlife after devastating bushfires. He has also held significant roles in many global summits and panels.

Ben's vision for Fly the Farm is to continue to provide exceptional services, support and training. 

BEN TROLLOPE - director

Ben Trollope is a highly regarded leader in the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) industry, with over a decade of experience driving innovation, developing successful ventures, and fostering strategic partnerships. 

As the Managing Director of Fly The Farm, Ben is dedicated to advancing agricultural technology, bringing cutting-edge drone solutions to Australian farmers and businesses. With expertise spanning both manned and unmanned aviation sectors, Ben’s career has been marked by his focus on blending technology with real-world applications. He has played a pivotal role in introducing innovative drone solutions across various industries, particularly in the agricultural space, where his work has contributed to improved operational efficiency and sustainability.

In 2020, Ben was appointed President of the Australian Chapter of the World UAV Federation, a recognition of his global influence and deep knowledge of UAV technology. Over the years, he has been a sought-after speaker at industry summits, sharing his insights on UAV technology, policy, and innovation. 

At Fly The Farm, Ben’s focus is on helping Australian farmers optimise their operations through the integration of UAV technology. He is passionate about providing comprehensive support, from training and setup to ongoing mentorship, empowering farmers to increase productivity and reduce costs. His commitment to delivering high-quality services and products has made him a trusted partner in the agricultural sector.
